Andrew Carter, AuD

Dr. Andrew Carter brings a passion for improving lives through better hearing and balance care. Originally from Alabama, he earned his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and went on to complete his Doctorate of Audiology at the University of South Alabama. His clinical training included rotations in ENT clinics, private practices, and university settings, culminating in a residency at an ENT clinic in Mobile, Alabama, where he also met his wife.

After managing a private audiology practice in Mobile for two years, Dr. Carter and his wife moved to the Emerald Coast in 2018 to grow their family and continue his career. Having vacationed in the area since childhood, Dr. Carter always considered the Emerald Coast his “happy place,” and now feels fortunate to call Santa Rosa Beach home.

At Emerald ENT, Dr. Carter focuses on diagnosing and treating hearing loss, tinnitus, and balance disorders such as dizziness and vertigo. His favorite part of his work is helping people regain their quality of life, whether it's resolving chronic dizziness or restoring the ability to hear loved ones again.
